Product description

Coba CGM 300 White 5 kg. Wall and Floor Tiles

  • Suitable for ceramic tiles
  • Waterproof
  • Slightly flexible
  • Suitable for underfloor heating
  • For indoor and outdoor

Scope of application

Coba grout CGM300 is suitable for grouting ceramic wall and floor tiles, (glass) mosaic and natural stone indoors and outdoors with a joint width of 2 to 10 mm. Coba grout CGM300 is suitable for underfloor heating, sets quickly and is waterproof and slightly flexible after hardening. Coba grout CGM300 is suitable for grouting tiles in dry and wet areas.

Instructions

The surface must be clean and dry. Setting mortar and adhesive residues must be removed from the joints for a good result. Only apply Coba grout CGM300 when the mortar or adhesive has hardened sufficiently. Clean the tile surface thoroughly beforehand.

Processing

Add 5 kg of Coba grout CGM300 to approximately 1.1 liters of clean tap water. Add approximately 4.2 liters of clean tap water to a 20 kg bag. Use a clean and dry mortar tub or bucket. Mix intensively for 1 minute with a suitable mortar mixer until a homogeneous, lump-free mass is formed. Mix again after a few minutes. Apply Coba grout CGM300 with a grout rubber or grout trowel so that the joints are completely filled. Depending on the absorption of the substrate and tile, a waiting period must be observed to allow the grout to set in the joint. Sponge the joints with a sponge board when the joint no longer sticks to the finger. Use water sparingly and avoid puddles in the joint, this prevents color differences. After sponging, rub the joints lengthwise with a clean wrung-out sponge, this gives the joint its final surface texture. Always use prepared grout within 60 minutes. Processing temperature between 5°C and 25°C. If in doubt, always set up a test piece or contact our technical advice department. Clean tools immediately after use with (warm) water.

Consumption

Consumption depends on the size of the tiles and the joint dimensions: approx. 0.25 - 2 kg/m2.

Post-treatment - Drying

The setting of Coba grout CGM300 depends on the environmental conditions, such as temperature, moisture, substrate and type of tile. Normally the joint can be loaded after 24 hours and any residue can be removed with a clean, dry cloth. Prevent too rapid drying due to drafts and direct sunlight.
